Every student has to choose a project in the second year of Lishan. There are many choices for us, and I chose English project.
This year, we completed some projects, such as “My Hometown”, “My Place 2056″, interviewing a teenager now and fifty years ago, “My hero”, and A reporter. In “My Hometown” project, we described the living environment, nature environment, and how it has change over the last 50 years. I also interviewed my aunt who was a teenager in 1956. I asked her questions, like what she did after school, and how her living environment was. Moreover, we image how our life will be in 50 years in “My Place 2056″ project. I think the future world will be very convenient and very good in every aspect. But most importment of all, we have to love our earth, so we can have a good living environment.
“My Hero” is my favorite project. Because of Ang Lee, the entire world knows about Taiwan. He also lets everybody know that hard work makes it possible to succeed. He never confines himself. That is why Ang Lee is my role model.
Sariya, Ying-Chih, and I finished a report together. We introduce the Hot Spring in Taiwan. Altough I haven’t been to Wulai before, thorough this project, I know more about one of Taiwan’s features.
I learned many things through the time in English project class. I learned how to write an English essay and how to express myself in English. “My hero” also gives me a sense of achievement. I hope I can be enthusiastic in learning Engilsh all the time.
